2021 Minuty Prestige Rosé Wine Review

This 2021 Chateau Minuty Prestige Rosé, Côtes de Provence comes from vineyards that sit on the Saint-Tropez peninsula in France. The Côtes de Province region produces some of the best rosés in the world.

About Chateau Minuty in France

Chateau Minuty has been in the Matton-Farnet family for over 85 years. The estate was originally a small chapel under Napoleon III. Gabriel Farnet took ownership of the estate in 1936. He replanted the entire estate’s vineyard and it began to flourish after World War II.

Their wines can be found all over France as well as 100 other countries. The vineyard that this rosé is produced from has a south-east exposure from the sea, which enables it to benefit from the sea air that keeps the vines dry.

Minuty Prestige Rosé Wine Review

I was very excited to try this wine from Chateau Minuty. The Prestige Rosé is made from the winery’s own grapes and uses four varietals–grenache, syrah, cinsault, and rolle. The rolle is also known by the name of Vermentino.

The rosé is light, refreshing and crisp with high fruit intensity. This is definitely a classy rosé. Minuty Prestige has a light salmon color. The 2021 vintage was an exceptional year for this wine. The nose is clean, crisp with peach and strawberry. As you begin tasting the rosé, the fruit comes through a little bolder.

You should serve this at 50 degrees for best flavor. It pairs well with fish, poultry, and hard cheeses. This rosé is definitely on my list of best rosés. I would give the Minuty Prestige Rosé a high rating!!
