Pumpkin Pie Martini

The only thing better than pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving Day is a Pumpkin Pie Martini. This is the perfect Thanksgiving martini to sip on while you’re waiting for the turkey to finish cooking or while sitting on the couch after stuffing yourself on stuffing.

This year, Buddy and I are enjoying our martini on the beach along with our daughter, Kimberly. We’re having a great time in Florida and wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!

What’s in a Pumpkin Pie Martini?

This cocktail is a dessert martini that you’ll likely already have a lot of the spices on hand for from your Thanksgiving Day pies: pumpkin pie puree, pumpkin pie spice, and maple syrup.

The specialty spirits you’ll need are: whipped cream vodka and RumChata cream liqueur. They’re well worth it for this delicious martini.

For the rim and garnish, you’ll need caramel sauce, crushed graham crackers, whipped cream, and a dust of cinnamon.

Before you start your martini, be sure to chill your rimmed martini glass before serving. A good rule to follow is, “chilled drink, chilled glass.” You’ll need a larger 6 oz. martini glass for this cocktail, otherwise it won’t quite fit with the garnishes.
